MusicBrainz Database for MySQL
Current Version: 2.0

MB_MySQL is a very easy to install, automated system for running the MusicBrainz database on home/office/internet servers. The actual MusicBrainz database is written in PostgreSQL.

A few minor changes have been made to the original MusicBrainz database to compensate for the support of MySQL. See the manual for more information.

NOTE: v2.0 is the first official public release. There was a bug found in some cases of the UPDATE replication statements. It also includes many new features to allow better error checking and schema changes. It is highly recommended that you rebuild the database with 2.0. Future updates and schema changes will be automatically fixed with the new update software.
